In 2018, nurses around the globe will be pursuing opportunities to improve health care for women and their families. What will YOU be doing?

Mozambican nurse Celeste Machava will host informal education sessions for women on cervical cancer to ensure that women know about getting timely screenings and the care they need to beat the disease.

Kalpana Kadodiya has spent years attaining a strong educational foundation, breaking barriers and pursuing her dream to become a nurse! She’s spending 2018 in nursing school in Madhya Pradesh, India, learning to save lives.

In Rwanda, nurses Chantal and Marie were trained to manage basic and emergency obstetric and neonatal complications during childbirth, and this year, they will mentor other nurses in the same.

Here’s to a new year of nurses on the frontlines, delivering quality care and saving lives!
